Indianapolis Gets Season Finale Extreme Home Makeover
One of the posts that continues to get ongoing traffic on the I Choose Indy site is the one about Extreme Home Makeover coming to Indy.
There’s now confirmation of a little bit more of the details and they sound good. The IBJ.com has announced that Estridge has been chosen as the builder behind the project. The deserving family will be notified on March 27th.
ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be filming the Indianapolis build as their special 2-hour season finale episode.
Estridge has already setup a special section on their website for more information. They’re taking further advantage of the social media scene by allowing you to follow their build on twitter and Facebook as well.
PickyList – A New Indy Marketplace in Development
I got introduced to a new website this evening from local Indianapolis developers Brandon Corbin and Mark Anderson. It looks and feels a bit like twitter, but it’s a different spin that combines the user-interface of twitter, with the functionality and usefulness of the old school classified ad.
Introducing PickyList.
Everything is in beta, but give it a try and let the developers know what you think and any issues and bugs you find.
I can’t wait till they integrate it with some other great micro-blogging tools like twhirl though, that would be great!
WISH-TV8 Beta Website
If you know much about me you know I enjoy and am fairly active on twitter. It was good to notice something this evening as I was reading a news story on the WISHTV8 website that’s currently in beta I guess.
Down in the sidebar of the site is a box listing some of their site tools. Included in the list: RSS Feeds, Mobile, Weather Alerts, Newsletters, Closing Alerts and my favorite now to see them active and promoting their activity on Twitter.
